Many of you have talked to me EARLY (way to plan ahead) and asked what you will miss on Friday.

1. You can turn in your LI05 assessment on the character(s) from the short stories on Monday. (The post below this one has the link to the digital short stories)

2. We will be covering an assignment to do over the weekend that you will need to have done for Monday AND I think the Swim Meet would be a great place to complete the assignment (if you want).

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE PRESENTERS

This email is only for those that have committed to doing MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.

After the presentations by the bold students who went first, I had received some very important questions from fellow classmates. The questions were:
"Don't we need to have a visual for our presentation?"
" Don't we need to talk about poetic devices in the poem?"
" We need to email you any technical stuff we want to do, right?"
" Can we bring in our music from our music device and plug it in?"
" Our presentation needs to be 7 minutes or less?"

The answer to all these questions is YES.

I would encourage all of you that are presenting to look over the Poetry Packet and what is expected for Mission Impossible as well as look at the RUBRIC for presentation. Both of these items have been looked at and addressed in class as well as provided for you on the internet.

Here is a link for the Poetry Packet detailing Mission Impossible:

Here is a link to the Rubric that will be used to grade you:

Please prepare accordingly and with the excellence that I know you are all capable of as Honors Freshmen.

Apology- No more Calendar

Good Morning.
It was brought to my attention that the FORMER calendar app on the blog had displayed an inappropriate advertisement. I was aware that this widget had running advertisements, but was unaware of the lack of discretion. I am disappointed, yet was nothing a delete in the edit page could not fix.

Thank you to that person who took the time to contact me. I will be on the hunt for a new "ad free" calendar widget- if you know of one please do not hesitate to send me a link. Again, I apologize for any of you who were subject to such an inappropriate greeting when visiting the blog.

Have a lovely Thursday,

Ms. Edmonds
